I have had the priviledge of meeting Wayne on several occassions, especially at the Cadron Creek Bluegrass Festival just outside of Bee Branch, Arkansas. He was a good friend of the Pierce Family who introduced me to Wayne. I even have a video tape of him introducing our band when we had the opportunity to play a guest spot at Cadron Creek. I've never met a finer man, a man with a good Christian heart, nor have I ever met a man with such a wonderful personallity.

Thanks Wayne, for all the great memories that you left behind, and may the last song of the night be in your honor.
